Availability is limited by the deployment's `MATRIX_ROUTING_TIER`. | #### Matrix routing tiers The `MATRIX_ROUTING_TIER` of the deployment determines the `matrix-routing` limits: | Tier | Limits | | ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | `base` (default) | Profile mode only. `profile` and `regionDefinition: {"type":"world"}` are required. `transportMode`, `routingMode`, `departureTime`, and `arrivalTime` are rejected. Supports matrices up to 100 x 100. | | `premium` | Supports the full HERE Matrix limits: flexible mode (15 x 100 or 100 x 1), region mode (500 x 500), and profile mode (500 x 500, 2,000 x 1, or 1 x 2,000). | The `tools/list` response reflects the active tier and its limits. Requests that exceed those limits return a validation error. ### Public Transit | Tool | Description | | ---------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | `public-transit-route` | Plans scheduled public-transit itineraries between two points and returns a cached public-transit route ID for follow-up map rendering. | ### Route import | Tool | Description | | ------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | `get-route-from-polyline` | Imports a caller-supplied HERE flexpolyline or Google polyline into a cached route via HERE Route Import. This is useful when you already have GPS trace data and want to reconstruct the route geometry. | ### Search and discovery | Tool | Description | | ---------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | `discover` | Searches for places of interest by using natural-language queries, including area-based and along-route searches. | ### Experimental > **Experimental** — These tools are under active development. Their inputs, outputs, and behavior can change without notice, and they may be changed or removed in a future release. Don't rely on them in production. Resources are exposed to provide optional dictionaries for those tools `categories://here-places` and `spatials://here-lg`.
