# Ingesting telemetry

When a device is provisioned with a license and associated to a [user account](https://docs.here.com/tracking/docs/owner), it can send its [telemetry](https://docs.here.com/tracking/docs/telemetry) – including GPS position, sensor readings, WLAN or Bluetooth scans – to the HERE Tracking API.

The API does not accept or ingest data from unclaimed or unprovisioned devices.
