    Mode of rendering the map by a MapView. Specified by setting MapViewOptions.renderMode and passing the options object to MapView on creation time.

      • SURFACE

        public static final MapRenderMode SURFACE

        Map rendering will use SurfaceView. This offers best performance but can cause graphical glitches in apps with complex, dynamic UI and/or multiple MapView instances.

      • TEXTURE

        public static final MapRenderMode TEXTURE

        Map rendering will use TextureView. This method has a performance penalty, but makes MapView behave like a regular view, supporting view transformations and alpha and avoiding graphical glitches that SurfaceView can suffer from in certain scenarios.

        Returns an array containing the constants of this enum type, in the order they are declared. This method may be used to iterate over the constants as follows:

        public static MapRenderMode valueOf​(java.lang.String name)
        Returns the enum constant of this type with the specified name. The string must match exactly an identifier used to declare an enum constant in this type. (Extraneous whitespace characters are not permitted.)
