Start and end cutting

Start and end cutting is an obfuscation method that works on real-time probes.

It removes the start and/or end pieces of a trajectory chunk to hide where some journey started and/or ended.

You can configure this obfuscation method using the following parameters:

• Start cutting strategy
• End cutting strategy (potentially using real-time stay point obfuscation)

The output of this obfuscation method is usually combined with other features like smart gapping.
