Cost Management concepts

Typically, the more data you send, receive, store, and process, the more costs you incur. With Cost Management, you can monitor your costs for your organizations, set usage limits, and customize usage reports.

Monitor your costs

The Cost Management Usage API monitors the billable usage costs for your organization's products. For more information, see the Cost Management Usage API v2 API Reference.

You can also view your billing usage on the usage dashboard, under Usage report.

Filter your results

You can categorize your billable usage costs by app ID, billing tag, feature ID, organizations, and project HRN in your request. For more information, see the Cost Management Usage API v2 API Reference.

HRNs

A HERE Resource Name (HRN) represents a HERE entity. For example, feature HRNs and project HRNs identify specific features and projects for filtering usage costs.

Feature HRNs

On the HERE platform, you can identify the offered features by their feature ID, which is a feature HERE Resource Name (HRN).

To find a feature HRN, select Services from the HERE platform launcher, and then select your service to display its HRN.

Project HRNs

You can use a project HRN to get your usage amount. To find your project HRN, select the Projects Manager option in the platform launcher. A table of project HRNs are then displayed, and you can find the correct project HRN for your request in the list.
