How to ingest telemetry with input streams

The Tracking service can ingest device telemetry with either the ingestion REST API or through the HERE platform catalog stream layer. Telemetry ingestion through the input stream layer can offer better performance when ingesting large amounts of telemetry data.

External location events can be also ingested using the same input stream as the device telemetry.

The input stream ingestion feature is in Alpha phase and it may change in future releases.
