CA	Ice Pressure Warning is issued when a prolonged period of strong onshore winds is forecast to force pack ice into coastal areas resulting in strong ice pressure along the affected coastal zones. Rapid Closing of Coastal Leads Warning is issued when the forecast combination of winds and ocean currents will result in the movement of pack ice rapidly closing any open waterways, known as leads, along the affected coastal sections. Special Ice Warning is issued for any other ice conditions that may be hazardous to marine operations in the affected marine area. For example, a Special Ice Warning may be issued when an area of pack ice drifts into or near a shipping lane that is normally ice-free during the ice season.
