Introduction to the HERE Destination Weather API v1

This document is a guide to using the HERE Destination Weather API v1 product and explains key concepts, documents resources, path and query parameters, response structures, and data types.

The Destination Weather product contains standard features and premium features. Premium features require an additional charge. To get premium features, contact your HERE representative.

Premium REST APIs

Radar and precipitation maps features are only included in the premium version of the Destination Weather product. These provide weather radar images for an area and severe weather alerts, along a specified route or a single car location. They use the connected in-vehicle infotainment systems to provide weather information to drivers.
