Raster tiles
The HERE Traffic Raster Tile API allows you to retrieve traffic information in a rendered image format. The image is rendered as a "tile", which is part of a square grid that represents areas of the globe at various zoom levels based on the projection. For more information on projection and zoom levels, see Mercator projection.
The current traffic situation on a road network is rendered using color-coded lines on a transparent background, known as the traffic flow. For more information on traffic flows, see Traffic flow.
How tiles are rendered can be customized using various request parameters, such as format and style. For more information, see Request parameters.
