Introduction

The HERE Traffic Raster Tile API allows you to request traffic raster tile images. The HERE Traffic Raster Tile API is optimized to work with HERE Raster Tile API, allowing for tile images to be rendered as Portable Network Graphics (PNG) and PNG-8 formats to represent traffic flow information graphically.

Additionally, the HERE Traffic Raster Tile API supports retrieving possible options for request parameters alongside meta-information in the JSON format. The HERE Traffic Raster Tile API supports configuring the following features for traffic flow requests:

• Minimum traffic congestion levels when displaying traffic flows.
• Pixels per inch of rendered images.
• Sizes of rendered images.
• Styles when rendering traffic information.
