Usage with HERE Geocoding and Search API v7

The HERE EV Charge Points API v3 works in conjunction with the HERE Geocoding and Search API v7. HERE Geocoding and Search API v7 handles the search and discovery of the charging locations, returns basic information about charging locations, and returns HERE Place IDs for these locations. Then you can use the HERE EV Charge Points API v3 to get additional or updated information about the charging locations using their HERE Place IDs.

Use IDs in the APIs

HERE Geocoding and Search API v7 returns HERE Place IDs in the standard format here:pds:place:CONTENT_ID. Use these IDs with HERE EV Charge Points API v3 to get more information about the charging location.

In calls to the HERE EV Charge Points API v3, you can use HERE Place IDs without the here:pds:place: prefix.

Tariffs as indexes

To keep the response size small and avoid duplication, tariffs aren't directly part of objects where tariffs belong logically, but there is a field tariffs at a location level, which is an array. Objects connected with tariffs have a field tariffIndexes, which keeps indexes for items from location.tariffs.
