Features that are listed in the Service features that are particular to the region section for each region are not recommended to be used outside that region.

Japan

Service features that are particular to the region

  • vehicle[category]=lightTruck - "No Trucks" signs in Japan apply to vehicles that weigh over 8T or have a loading capacity over 5T or a boarding capacity of over 11 people. The light-truck category can be used for routing vehicles whose physical characteristics do not exceed these limits, while still respecting types of truck restrictions like height, weight, length, etc.

Russia / Belarus

Crossing the western borders

  • Due to the geopolitical situation, crossing the western borders of Russia and Belarus (including Kaliningrad), may not be possible. Routing into Belarus or Russia will function normally, but routes that would normally transit these countries may not be resolvable, or may take a different path than expected. For example, Estonia to Finland while avoiding ferries.
