Road segment reference - TMC or LINK-DIR

The first field on the line in your query response is always the road segment reference. You can reference your dataset to TMC codes or HERE Map link IDs. TMC codes are an open, global standard way of referencing road segments. If you have access to the HERE Map, you can choose link ID references, which provide finer granularity and broader coverage than TMC codes.

Note

At the time you make your query, verify that you have the same version of the HERE Map as the one referenced in Traffic Analytics.

If the dataset is TMC-coded, then this field contains road segment references in the standard 9-character format (for example, 107P04998). Inner and outer TMC codes are combined in Traffic Analytics, so the direction indicator is always P or N. If you chose link referencing, the format is the link ID (PVID) number followed by one letter (T or F) denoting direction along that link, according to the standard HERE direction coding.
