Admin area level 1 feature class (Admin_Area_Level1)

Tier availability: Essential, Advanced, Premier

The administrative boundaries are available in separate feature classes named Admin_Area_Level1, Admin_Area_Level2, and Admin_Area_Level8. Admin_Area_Level1 represents States for the United States, Estados for Mexico, and Provinces for Canada.

CLAIMED_BYString (3)Indicates which country claims an administrative area boundary in a disputed territory. This attribute is empty in non-disputed areas
CONTROLLED_BYString (3)Indicates which country is in control of the area according to international agreements in disputed areas. This attribute is empty in non-disputed areas
