What's new - HERE GIS Data Suite

The Q2 2026 release includes updates across HERE GIS Data Suite data content, schema details, and related documentation.

Product-wide updates

  • Added scope: New release-note coverage for Q2 2026 schema updates
  • Updated: Field lengths, field types, and naming conventions harmonized across administrative, cartographic, roadway, POI, and postal datasets
  • Removed: None

Data model and schema updates

    • routing_streets_override renamed to Routing_Streets_Override (changed by ESRI tools)

Field position updates within feature classes and tables

  • Network / Network_Turns: broad field-order shift where most listed fields moved by -2; OBJECTID moved 0 -> 132 and Shape moved 1 -> 133
  • Network / Signposts: broad field-order shift where most listed fields moved by -2; OBJECTID moved 0 -> 39 and Shape moved 1 -> 40
  • BlackSpot_Roads, Condition_Speed, Overtaking_Zones, and listed Safety_Cameras fields shifted by +1 positions
  • Named_Places: REGION_ABBREV changed 16 -> 17 (+1) and REGION_LATIN changed 17 -> 16 (-1)
  • Places: multiple address-component fields reordered in Q2 2026, including significant shifts for COUNTRY (-12), POSTAL_CODE (-11), REGION (-10), DISTRICT (-9), LOCALITY (-8), and ADDR_LANG_CODE_LATIN (+12)

Routing, geocoding, and map content updates

  • Routing updates: RIRRT network and transport restriction fields normalized for numeric precision and consistent length
  • Geocoding updates: Addresses and Places key geocoding fields normalized (for example LINK_ID, NAME, STREET_NAME, and postal-related fields)
  • Cartographic updates: Display and classification fields standardized in cartographic and POI datasets

Documentation updates

  • Added topics: What's new topics for Address, Cellular, RIRRT, and User Guide sections
  • Full row-by-row change log: Q2 2026 full schema change log
  • Updated topics: What's new topic with Q2 2026 schema updates, alignment with data model changes, see above
