Major roads feature class (Major_Roads)
The Major_Roads feature class is a subset of the Streets feature class where FUNCTIONAL_CLASS equals 1, 2, 3, or 4 and part of the Major_Roads_FD dataset, along with the Major_Roads_1 and Major_Roads_2 feature classes. The Major_Roads dataset has fewer fields to improve redraw speed.

| FUNCTIONAL_CLASS | Integer (4) | The functional class of street segments defines the segment's role within the hierarchical street network and determines logical and efficient routes in routing applications.
