What's new - HERE GIS Data Suite Road Infrastructure, Rules, Regulations, and Traffic

The Q2 2026 release includes updates to Road Infrastructure, Rules, Regulations, and Traffic data content, schema details, and related documentation.

Data content updates

Added attributes:
- BlackSpot_Roads.DIRECTION_DESC
- Condition_Speed.DIRECTION_DESC
- Overtaking_Zones.DIRECTION_DESC
- Safety_Cameras.CAMERA_SPEED_LIMIT_UNIT
Updated: Restriction, routing, and transport-related fields standardized for data type and length consistency
Removed: None

Network dataset changes:
- Network / Network_Turns: KPRA_LENGTH_RSTN, PAYLOAD_RSTN, and WEIGHT_PER_AXLE_RSTN updated from type Integer to Double and length 4 -> 8
- Streets_DailyProfiles.TRAVEL_DIRECTION length changed 2 -> 1
Travel mode updates: No explicit travel mode definition changes
Condition or restriction updates:
- Condition_Access.TIME_OVERRIDE type SmallInteger -> Integer, length 2 -> 4
- Condition_Driver_Alerts.DIRECTION_DESC length 35 -> 30

- Shape moved from position 1 -> 133 (+132)
Network / Signposts field order shifted broadly:
- Most listed fields moved by -2 positions from Q1 2026 to Q2 2026
- OBJECTID moved from position 0 -> 39 (+39)
- Shape moved from position 1 -> 40 (+39)
Additional positional shifts:
- BlackSpot_Roads: ISO_COUNTRY_CODE, OBJECTID, Shape, and Shape_Length each shifted by +1
- Condition_Speed: ISO_COUNTRY_CODE and OBJECTID each shifted by +1
