How overage transactions are being billed?

If your subscription with HERE is based on number of Assets or Monthly Active Users (MAUs) – you are subject to overage limits per each asset/MAU according to Commercial Terms & Conditions signed and selected plan.

Limits are calculated as an average across all Assets/ Monthly Active Users included in a subscription.

The overage fees are calculated and billed monthly for both asset and MAU based plans, regardless of whether you opted to be billed up-front annually or monthly.

If you surpass the overage limits during the month, we will present total number of transactions on your invoice and will deduct your overage limit from the price instead.

Please see below examples for Asset Management subscription with 100 assets use case and billing for geocoding transactions under and over the limit as a reference:

Case 1 - customer committed 700,000 Geocoding transactions during the month:

The customer is within the overage transaction limit, there is no charge, geocoding transactions are not presented on the invoice.

Case 2 - customer committed 900,000 Geocoding transactions during the month:

Customer is over the limit for free geocoding transactions and will be billed EUR 66 for overage. This will be presented on the invoice as follows:

As presented above - the overage limit is deducted from price, not from transactions. Transaction count will match total transactions under subscription and price on the invoice will be adjusted accordingly to give proper total amount billed.

Note:

If you utilize HERE location services that are not included in your MAU/ Asset subscription you will be charged the rates in the Base Plan.
