[Map Content] How to get access to HMC catalogs on HERE platform

This procedure applies to both evaluation agreements and commercial contracts.

1. Request Access from the HERE Team

The HERE Platform Support Team (PST) grants access to HERE Map Content (HMC) catalogs according to the terms of Evaluation Agreement or Commercial Contract.

After the agreement or contract has been finalized, contact your Account Executive (AE) or Partner Account Manager (PAM) and request that they engage the HERE PST team to enable access to the required HMC catalogs.

2. Understand HMC Catalog Availability

HMC catalogs can be available at different levels within the HERE platform:

1. Realm-level and project-level catalogs

Some HMC catalogs, such as HMC Base, are available at both the realm and project levels. You can locate these catalogs in:

1. * Launcher > Data, or
* Project Manager > Link a Catalog
2. Project-level catalogs only

Some HMC catalogs, such as HMC DVN Compatibility and HMC External References, are available only at the project level. These catalogs can be found exclusively in:

2. * Project Manager > Link a Catalog

3. Access HMC Catalogs on the HERE Platform

a. Create an App and a Project

Create an app and a project, then link the application to the project.







b. Link the Required HMC Catalogs

Open your project in Project Manager, search for the required HMC catalogs, and link them to the project.







c. Verify the Catalogs Have Been Added

After linking the catalogs, verify that they are listed in your project.



d. Validate Access Using the OLP CLI

Use the OLP CLI tool together with the credentials from the application linked to the project to validate access to the HMC catalogs.
