How to report road closure and constructions using Map Creator

Reporting Road Closure and Constructions in Map Creator

To Customers using Map Creator for Desktop:

It is possible to report road closures, constructions, and incidents in Map Creator.

Zoom to the area or use the search bar to find an area where you want to report the road closures and constructions.

Select the road segment where you want to report a road closures and constructions.

Click on the icon "Report missing/invalid closures and construction" - red button on attribute set toolbar.

Provide information such as: Direction, Type of incident, Add or remove incident, Reason, Closure Period, Source (if available) and Additional Information.

Click “Send Report” to submit the Road Closures and Constructions report.

To visualize existing Road Closures and Constructions reports on the map, turn on the layer “Road closures and Constructions” in Support Layers on Object Panel.

To Customers using Map Creator for Mobile:

Zoom to the area where you want to report the road closure.

Active Edit tool. Select the link you would like to report the road closure incident. Click Next.

Click on the red Construction icon to “Report Closures, Constructions, Events”.

Provide information such as: Type of incident, Add or remove incident, Reason, Direction of Travel, Period, Official source (if available) and Additional Information.

Click “Done”.
