How to draw the "Campo de Hielo Sur" rectangle in accordance with DIFROL requirements (Chile)
HERE publishes a White paper about the Chile map approval requirements from DIFROL.
One of the items of dispute is the so-called “Campo de Hielo Sur” rectangle.
The white paper may imply that the rectangle must be shown as Intermittent River feature type. However this is not the case;
==> When displaying the map you need to show the disputed area, DIFROL does not care which feature you choose to use as long as it is shown, so if you want a line feature or a polygon or a succession of points it´s ok. (HERE uses intermittent river because it is the feature that works best for the example in the white paper.
