[Platform] Cannot reset password for HERE platform portal

Issue

When you forget the log in password to HERE platform portal and want to reset it, you may see the errors:

Cannot find HERE account with your email address
You still cannot log in even after resetting the password

For example, while you are sure you have a valid HERE platform user account, your email is not recoganized:



Solution

The correct entrance for HERE platform portal is platform.here.com

If you forget password, enter your email and click next, then click the "Forgot your password?" link.



After passing the security check, you will receive an email with a link to reset the password.

Cause

Did you notice the difference between the two screenshots above?

The subject and notie body are differnt
+ Reset password VS Reset your HERE account password
+ Send us your HERE account email, and we'll send you a link (good for 24 hours) so you can reset your password. VS Enter the organisation ID and email address associated with your account and submit the form. An email from '[email protected]' will be sent to that address, containing a link valid for 24 hours that you can use to reset your password.
There is a Organization ID field in the second screenshot that the first screenshot does not have.

Becaue the second screenshot is taken from the correct HERE platform portal entrance while the first one is not.

Note

The correct log in entrance for the HERE platform portal is https://platform.here.com - IMPORTANT!

Never use other HERE service or product log in portal such as HERE WeGo https://wego.here.com by mistake.

Actually, the first screenshot is taken from the "Forgot your password?" link of HERE WeGo.

It makes sense that no matter how many times you reset password for HERE WeGo, you still cannot log in HERE platform plortal.
Because they are different product or services from HERE, and their log in credentials could not be cross used.
